“ This is a gem of a place. I understand it’s under new management which may be why it isn’t at least a 4.5. The portions and quality were amazing. We each ordered a bento box and had enough for a second meal. Eat in, they have cute Japanese style booths. Worth a visit. ”
“ I don't usually come here often, but since this restaurant is under new management, I thought, why not give it a try? The food was great, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only issue was that the soup was a little watery, though it still tasted good. The prices were reasonable, and the server was kind and friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Also they have this 'Spin the Wheel' for 1 per table, at the moment where you can get it for free. I got spring rolls. Get it before it's too late. ”
“ Oh my goodness, if I lived near Okoman, I would come here every day. Came here on a whim, and was blown away at the taste and portion sizing for the price. It was so good, we forgot to do the spin the wheel promotion because we were too busy eating Service was also very friendly, and ordering was quick and painless. Would highly recommend visiting. I know I'll be back for more ”
“ The food and service were both fantastic. The salmon and tuna sashimi were incredible, as were the udon and crispy chicken don. The team was very accommodating and they have these cute booths that seat up to six. They serve ice cold draft Asahi as well as bottle Sapporo. To top that off their tempura ice cream was delectable. You can't go wrong at Okomon! ”
“ Every time I visit, it’s consistently good food, with very reasonable prices, good portions and friendly staff. Keep it up! ”
“ Highly recommend. We enjoy the food but appreciate everyone has different preferences. Clean restaurant, great ambience, and quick excellent service. Ample parking and right across from Lougheed Mall and other stores so you can also do some shopping. My kids also enjoy this restaurant. ”
“ Amazing sushi! Super fresh fish, right temperature and portions. Highly recommended! Also tried teriyaki tofu and chicken and they were good. ”
“ This spot is such a hidden gem. We had the dynamite bento, salmon aburi, unagi aburi, chicken karaage, and a bunch of nigiri sushi. The sushi rice was moist and tasty, and they don’t go overboard with it, which I liked. The tempura and karaage were solid too—light on the batter, and the chicken was nice and juicy. The karaage sauce really stood out. The aburi sushi had good flavor and wasn’t drowned in sauce, though I thought it could use a bit more seasoning. The nigiri was super fresh, just a little too much rice for me. All in all, the food was great, the service was awesome, and I’d totally come back. ”
